Cudd uses pre-treatment fluid testing to ensure chemical compatibility with reservoir fluids.

Fracturing Systems include a wide variety of slickwater, gelled oil and foam systems tailored for each specific job. To enhance the stimulation treatment a comprehensive line of additives is available. These additives include: biocides, gel breakers, gel stabilizers, clay stabilizers, fluid loss additives, surfactants, foaming agents, mutual solvents, and friction reducers.

Cudd has an extensive array of acidizing systems designed specifically for a well ’s needs. They vary from emulsified, non-emulsified, iron controlled and foamed hydrochloric acids to mud clean-up, mud dispersants, anti-sludge, scale removal systems and linked aromatic acid dispersions. To control a variety of situations such as fines migration and iron re-precipitation, additives are also available.

We frequently upgrade all systems and equipment as technology
    and requirements dictate.

Frac Pumps: Cudd's fleet of pumps includes units ranging from 1800 HHP triplex units to 2250 HHP quintaplex pumps with working pressure up to 10,000 psi.

Sand Conveyors: Cudd's Double Belt Sand Conveyor is utilized on large proppant volume frac jobs to accommodate several Sand Hulks. The conveyor has separate engines and hydraulics to power each belt. This provides 100% backup if necessary. The conveyor can deliver up to 15,000 lbs. of proppant per minute.

Sand Hulks: Cudd's Sand Hulks provide field proppant storage of up to 350,000 lbs. each. The unit's belts, sand gates, and pads are driven by its own diesel powered hydraulic system. The Sand Hulk is capable of delivering 12,000 lbs. of proppant per minute.

LGC/LAS Units: Cudd's LGC (Liquid Gel Concentrate) and LAS (Liquid Additive System) units are highly efficient and accurate. The LGC unit meters concentrated gellant into the frac water stream with rapid hydration. The LAS unit can add up to six different chemicals simultaneously, utilizing both turbine and Micro-Motion meters.

Acid Pumps: Cudd's acid pumps provide an extensive range of pump rates and pressures.

Blenders: Cudd's 100 bpm blenders allow full control of all chemicals (liquid and dry) and proppant. They accurately mix and supercharge a variety of frac fluids and can deliver up to 21,000 lbs of proppant per minute.
